Love Bridal Boutique, Cheshire – A Special Guest Post!

Well, we’ve had a very busy few months and a new exciting business is well underway for Emma and I… We’re in the process of opening a brand new bridal boutique in Bowdon in Cheshire (exciting!) and we thought, whilst the website and blog for the boutique are under construction, that we’d use my blog to tell you a little bit more about it! So…I’m handing you over to Emma to do just that!

Well what a wonderful whirlwind of a few weeks it’s been since we finally sorted the lease on the property for our fabulously shiny new bridal dress boutique…

It was definitely love at first sight when we first stepped into what we instantly knew would be the home for the new boutique. Four fabulous floors which seemed to have been built especially for us and what we had in our minds – our vision of combining my dress expertise and Jonny’s photography business and building this into something which brides-to-be will love. Not only is the property itself perfect, but the location is ideal too – a brides paradise of spa’s, hairdressers, a lingerie boutique, restaurants, cafes and soon to be a wine bar! What more could a girl want!?

By this point we had also agreed the name and branding for the boutique so everything was finally coming together. We were working with a very good friend and former colleague from our ad agency days, Louise Poole, who never ever fails to disappoint with her wonderful work. And so…. Love Bridal Boutique and our “lovebird” branding was born…

So, next up was to choose which dress and accessory designers we were going to stock and we very quickly had a wishlist that we knew would fit with our brand and our style… I can’t reveal who these are just yet as we have something very special planned to launch the boutique, but let’s just say that each individual designer collection has their very own style and the full collection works together beautifully. We have lots of different shapes and styles to spoil our brides with too and accessories have also been carefully chosen to work well with all our gowns – including some more unusual and refreshing styles mixed with tradition.

To make our final dress and accessory selections, Jonny and I trotted off to London to the biggest buying event on the bridal calendar “The White Gallery” where all the top bridal designers showcase their collections. We had a fab time meeting with designers and watching catwalk shows and came away extremely happy with our selections… Jonny was in his element and is now loving his new knowledge of all things pretty and girly ;o)
